Hola que tal amigos de Super Líder Deportes, sabemos que tanto ustedes como nosotros se encuentran algo tristes y aburridos en este primer domingo sin NFL, lo cual nos hace rascar lo poco que se pueda sacar de noticias de la ya mencionada NFL, ¿y que encontramos? bueno nos quedan dos cosas de que hablar entre otras cosas que vienen derivando de una de estas, la primera es el Draft y la segunda es de lo que hablaremos el día de hoy, de la agencia libre.
Bueno pues a diferencia del año pasado donde hubo un paro patronal y que obligó a que este periodo fuera corto, muy corto diría yo, pues encontramos tiempo suficiente para que este periodo se realice de manera tradicional y lo que es mas importante una gran cantidad de agentes libres que en total son 600.
La agencia libre dará inicio el 13 de Marzo donde la mayoría de los agentes libres ahora si serán como la palabra lo dice "LIBRES" y sin ninguna restricción, donde también la cantidad no contrasta con la calidad en esta Off-Season y es que 18 seleccionados para el Pro-Bowl de este año se encuentran entre los 600 jugadores que estarán buscando nuevo equipo.
El nuevo convenio colectivo acordado en julio prevé una pequeña elevación en el tope salarial entre 2011 y 2012. Eso, combinado con la incertidumbre de un tope salarial de 2010, creó muchos de los contratos de corto plazo, dice el exgerente general de la NFL Charley Casserly, quien llama al escenario de “carnicería para los jugadores.”
“Esto no tiene precedentes en la NFL”, dijo Casserly. “Tienes más agentes libres que nunca en la historia de la NFL y un tope que se prevé que sea el mismo. Así que hay menos dinero por agente libre que nunca”.
